We lifeguard, we emergency respond, we continue to teach wherever we go 😂

Some might say we never ever stop.

And they’d be right 🙈

However, we also love watching families enjoying the water! This is what going on holiday is all about ☀️

Enjoying the cool dip between the sunbathing, zooming down the water slides, and making friends who love swimming just as much as they do! 🥰

As we speak, Edie is learning how to snorkel, ready for swimming in the sea with Tom tomorrow. Her passion has always been nature and the animals of our world, so hopefully she’ll see some fish tomorrow! And Albie, he’s running his toy cars down the slides with Diane, his Grandma, and following them, showing such confidence in a pool not out of his depth, so for once, he’s ok with his armbands off (which is gorgeous to see)!

So if there’s any advice we can give, it’s don’t wait until 6 weeks before your holiday, or rely on a crash course to teach your child how to swim. Invest now, and reap the benefits for your next holiday.

Whatever the goal is for your child, we want to hear it!

So, when you book with us, drop us a line, we’ll be sure to pass it on to their teacher!

We’re just two parents, trying to make a difference for our kids and yours 🩵

We don’t get it right all the time. We’re human. We make mistakes, have difficult days and sometimes wish there were a few more hours to get everything done.

But you best believe we’ll move heaven and earth for our kids and yours!

Because we care. Deeply.

About the child who needs a little longer to feel brave. The parent trusting us with their whole world. The little breakthrough you’ve both waited weeks for.

We know how much those moments matter, because we’re parents too 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

So if you’ve been thinking about swimming lessons but have questions, worries or a child who might need a little extra support, please talk to us.

We love open communication, and that starts before you’ve even booked your first lesson, and continues throughout your whole journey with us…

You don’t need to have it all figured out. That’s something we can do together.

So, if you have a question, or need to check in with us, we’re here…

Honestly, somebody confiscate my pom-poms 🤸‍♀️🤣

Because I’ve seen the nerves, the wobbles and the little steps it took to get there. So when it clicks, you’d better believe I’m making a fuss 🥹

They might of only swam five metres, but you’ll hear me celebrating from the car park.

Sorry about that. It WILL happen again 💁‍♀️

Come and join Swim Superb. The cheering is included in the price 📣

Those bubbles mean your child is breathing OUT into the water…

Quite a useful part of the swimming package 😂

Blowing bubbles teaches them to breathe OUT while their face is in the water, then breathe IN when their mouth comes clear.

If they hold their breath instead, they have to squeeze breathing out AND breathing in into that moment above the water. Everything gets rushed, their rhythm goes and swimming becomes harder work.

Those little bubbles are a BIG deal. Skipping this foundation can hold their swimming back.

Want to help at home?

🥤 Get the straws out and blow bubbles in your drinks together! Heal your inner child… all those years of being told off, and you were actually training. 😂 Make sure they understand blowing rather than sipping first.

🛁 Practise bubbles in clean, soap-free bath water (or if you’ve no bath, a washing up bowl will do). Just their lips in to breathe OUT and make bubbles, then mouth clear to breathe IN.

Keep attempts short with normal breaths between turns, never force their face in and always supervise within arm’s reach.

So before we ask them to swim further, let’s make sure they can breathe while they’re doing it 👀

PRESTON PARENTS… We need to talk 👀

If swimming lessons are still sitting on your “we really must get round to that” list, consider this your sign. 🪧

One day, your child will go swimming without you.

No mum. No dad. No hand to hold.

And when that day comes, you’ll want them taking everything they’ve learnt with them. The confidence. The skills. The understanding of how to stay safer in the water 🩵

THAT is why swimming lessons matter. 🥹

And Preston… we’ve got something pretty special going on 🌟

🏆 SWIM SCHOOL OF THE YEAR 2026 FINALIST!

💦 Beautiful, warm swimming pools.

🩵 Small classes where we know your child’s name, celebrate their wins and notice when they need a little extra reassurance.

😂 Teachers who are part swimming experts, part professional cheerleaders and occasionally VERY questionable singers.

🙌 A 4 week money back guarantee, because we’re THAT confident you’ll love what we do.

From tiny babies discovering the water to adults finding their confidence, there’s a place for you here.

Because that first “I can’t” turning into “WATCH ME!”? That’s a pretty big deal. In the pool AND beyond it 🥹

So, Preston parents… the perfect time probably won’t announce itself.

But we will. Loudly. With questionable singing. 📣😂

LET’s GET THAT FIRST LESSON BOOKED 🩵

Ever heard your child say something and thought… “hang on a minute” 🙈 THAT’S WHAT I SAY! 🤣

Well, sorry to break it to you, but it’s exactly the same in the water.

You’ve got a fear? They’re likely to be worried too.

You won’t get your hair wet? Your child won’t want to go under.

You don’t like swimming in the sea? Guess who won’t either… 👀

We talk about learnt behaviour in every other part of life, so why should swimming be any different?

The best thing you can do for your child is have the “they don’t like…” chat with us over email or on the phone. Because when it happens on poolside with little ears listening, you’ve planted the seed and handed them the perfect excuse to stand back from trying something new.

Here’s the fun part: we often get jaw-drop moments from parents who didn’t get the chance to warn us about their child’s dislikes or worries. Why? Because their little one jumps in eager to please and smashes the task with zero fuss. 💪

So yes, we absolutely want to know about any previous bad experiences or worries. Just not poolside! 🤫

Drop us a line at hello@swimsuperb.co.uk or call 01257 443476 ☺️

Hey, hi, hello… nice of you to be here 👋

We’re Jess and Tom, Co-Founders and Owners of Swim Superb, where our mission is to build confident swimmers and help children become safer in the water.

We provide top-quality swimming lessons across Chorley, Preston and Garstang in Lancashire, helping families give their children a skill for life.

But outside of the pool, we’re also…

Husband and wife 💍
Mum and Dad to Edie and Albie 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Horse lover (Jess) 🐴
Dog parents 🐶
Football mad (Tom) ⚽️
Lovers of all things outdoors 🌸
And big foodies… swimming works up an appetite, you know 🍕

We run lessons every day of the week across our five fantastic venues (soon to be six 👀), with morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Because fitting everything into family life deserves an Olympic medal of its own.

And yes, we’re going to say it… swimming lessons should be a priority 👏

We love football, gymnastics and dancing too, but learning to swim gives your child skills that could one day save their life. That’s a pretty strong case for a place in the family calendar.

So, what makes us different?

We’ve built Swim Superb around the experience we’d expect for our own children. And trust us, we have high standards 💁🏼‍♀️

Our five pillars: Security, Support, Strengthen, Succeed and Superb, guide how we teach, encourage and celebrate your child, helping them feel safe, supported and proud of every step forward.

We care about the families who walk through our doors. Your child’s confidence matters. Their progress matters. And how they feel about coming to swimming matters.

You’re more than a name on a database. And your child deserves more than a teacher ticking boxes.

So, welcome to the Swim Superb family… we can’t wait to meet you 🩵

Ready to dive in? Head to our bio where you’ll find our link. See you poolside 😉
