Last week was our busiest week yet for our Water Safety Workshops with SwimmingKidz! 😵🩵

We had the pleasure of visiting:

🏫 St Aidan’s C of E, Billinge
🏫 Waterloo Primary, Ashton-under-Lyne
🏫 Blackrod Church School, Bolton
🏫 Hindley Green Community Primary, Wigan
🏫 St Charles RC Primary, Blackburn
🏫 Burscough Bridge Methodist Primary, Burscough

A huge thank you to every school for such a warm welcome, and well done to all the children who got involved with brilliant questions, enthusiasm and participation! 👏

By the end of this week, we’ll be on track to have delivered our Water Safety Workshop to 4,375 children… in just 6 weeks 🤯

Big shout out to EpicKidz Charity for funding this amazing project!

Every child who learns how to recognise danger, Float to Live, and make safer decisions around water is another step towards preventing drowning. That’s why we’re so passionate about taking this into schools 🩵

Last week was our busiest week yet for our Water Safety Workshops with SwimmingKidz! 😵🩵

What a gorgeous night celebrating with our incredible team! 🥹

Food, drinks, escape rooms, football... and plenty of laughs along the way ⚽️

As part of our first birthday celebrations, we also held our very first Swim Superb Team Awards, recognising the amazing people who make Swim Superb what it is today.

To every member of our team, thank you. We simply couldn’t do this without you. Here’s to another year of helping children become safer, stronger and more confident in the water 🥂✨

If there’s one thing I wish I’d had as a child, it’s more swimming lessons... and that I’d started younger.

Credit to my Mum and Dad: they put me in lessons even though neither of them were particularly confident swimmers themselves. But looking back, I wish I’d had more time in the water before school swimming came around.

My background has always been working with children and young people, so when I met Tom, I naturally started helping with the swim school.

There was just one tiny problem...

I couldn’t really swim 🙈

So, while I was completing my swimming teacher qualifications, I was also having lessons with Tom and learning to swim properly myself! (My Nana paid for my teaching qualifications because she believed I’d be good at this before I did. She always encouraged me to find something that made me happy.)

To this day, it’s still a running joke in our family that I was training to teach swimming while learning to swim myself 😂

Fast forward 10 years...

We built the swim school I wish I’d had as a child.

A place where children feel safe, known and genuinely taught. Where confidence comes before certificates. Where technique matters. And where every child gets the time and attention they deserve.

Because I never want another child to feel like they’re playing catch-up the way I did.
